August 5-8	Advanced Social Artistry Trainers program including a “Stage Presence” workshop by Peggy Rubin

August 8-11	Social Artistry Summit. A wonderful time and place to gather and find out how people are applying Social Artistry in the world, and to help brainstorm and build the field. We will have “Congress” sessions during the event for these discussions.

If you have attended Social Artistry Trainers Training, please plan on being in Ashland by August 5 for the advanced work. You are also welcome to attend the “Intro” that will be offered August 1-5 for a reduced fee.

Working in the way of the Great Peacemaker is Loretta Afraid-of-Bear Cook, as she follows the path of life today that keeps peace alive in daily cooperative action and in Council.

A long time friend of Jean Houston and frequent visitor to Mystery school, Loretta Afraid-of-Bear is Oglala Lakota Sioux, born on the Pine Ridge Reservation. Loretta’s mother, Beatrice Long Visitor, and her aunt, Rita Long Visitor, both sit on the International Council of Thirteen Indigenous Grandmothers, with Grandma Agnes.

Loretta carries an enormous mission: gathering and presenting to the Obama White House a consensus on the future of the Black Hills. Loretta already has that consensus. The message of all 9 tribes of Great Sioux Nation is: “The Black Hills are not for sale. We want all the unseated lands in the Black Hills back, returned to the tribes.” But nothing is easy: 4 years, and she is still at work. She’s ready to be a grandmother – perhaps by the time she joins us!

Come hear that story - and the one about her grandfather, Earnest Afraid-of-Bear, who was dead for 3 days…

Eminent Peacemakers calls each 3rd Wednesday, 5:30pmPT.
Circle Forum each 4th Wednesday, 5:30pmPT, for the design tools to start up your own Circle, to add tools to an existing Circle, and to answer your questions.
Circle Culture Carrier Call meets each 2nd Wednesday, 5:30pmPT to build skills for Practitioner/Coaches to mentor new circles. Join us to consider taking up this role.
Work with a mentor for on-going support in building your own circle.
